I had the decision down to the Samsung "Touch of Red," LG Scarlett (LG60) and this four2LG70. The Samsung seemed nice, but I felt it was once overpriced. It had half the options the LGs have. The handiest factor "special" in regards to the Samsung was that it had a troublesome pressure. Personally I don't need a difficult force on my TV. I just like the Scarlet (42LG60), but I used to ben't partial to the big circle in the center. It's style and design appeared a little peculiar and old school to me. Then there it was, the four2LG70! Same actual includes as the Scarlet, but the design is far more up to date (and $450 cheaper)! The end is very sleek and shiny. You can see your face in it (it comes with an ideal cool, high speed micro fiber cloth to wipe off finger prints and smudges and it works in point of fact well)! I bought it home and hooked it up and the image was once unreal. I watched an episode of Prison Break in HD and was once blown away. My wife made the comment that the image was so just right, you need to see the actors pores and imperfections lol. The funny thing is, she usually can not inform the difference between HD and SD. This TV has opened her eyes (we had a 32LG40 from three 12 monthss ago)!
Like somebody already mentioned, the TruMotion is a perfectb function whereas watching most programming, however for sure HD programming and each movie I even have tried to observe, its higher to show the TruMotion off. The problem I no lengthyericed is that it seems you might be looking at the entire thing in a x2 FF mode. Turned the TruMotion off and the fee went again to customary with none lack of image high quality.

It's mind blowing how vibrant and clear blu-ray is on this set. Watching BBC's Planet Earth felt like we had been standing proper there. The handiest thing you want to do when gazing films, however, is to show OFF the TrueMotion feature. It makes Sports, News, and Documentaries seem very excellent, but it will make your movies look like they were shot on video!
Turning off TrueMotion whereas gazing motion images results in high-def perfection.
