Edit 1/21/11. Image lag nonetheless affecting picture. Seems to happen all over scenes that have vivid background. Highly noticeable when folks transfer across the display or camera view transfers throughout scenery. Looks like a trail of enlarged and jumbled pixels that observe objects right through movement of object or digital camera movement across object. I heard during the grapevine that this can also be a identified drawback with vizios but have but to call the company to verify. When I do I will edit this evaluation with the feedback. I would lower my rating
to a 3.4 for this product.
Edit 2/09/11. The t.v. Is offering much more concerns now. Twice inside about 20 total hours of t.v. Viewing, the t.v. Shuts itself off and operates an influence cycle. Power cycles are mainly the identical of restarting your pc when a downside come ups. I've contacted vizio they usually had me tweak some settings. Obviously these tweaks did now nothing. I am going to call them back and with a little bit of luck they take the item again.
Also, image lag as I described in prior edit nonetheless exists. Hasn't gotten any higher or worse but definitely not gone away. Went to the store where I bought the t.v. And watched the m421vt display adaptation. I noticed the identical lag on that t.v. I used to be torn between this and a Sony Bravia 40", however feel I precisely have made the proper choice. There continues to be room for improvement, however as it upgraded the firmware the first day I had it, I feel it should have no problems advancing.
Overall a truly perfect product. Fair worthd and excellent functionance. I feel the basic public is not going to feel sorry about this purchase, however recommend seeing the TVs in action to choose out what's proper for them.

UPDATE
This TV does "reset" fairly continuously. And additionally there's an difficulty with the good dimming. If there is a monitor with plenty of black for a long period of time (for me it was as quickly as GTAIV's pause reveal) it's going to shut off the reveal.
